About Marion Rouvas
Marion Rouvas is one of Australia’s most influential singing teachers, often the secret sauce behind vocal success stories and transformations across NSW and beyond. As the vocal coach of multiple The Voice winners, and the reason treasured Australian artists have healed and thrived after years of vocal damage, Marion’s expertise as a singing teacher is unparalleled.
After many singing teachers found success using Marion’s approach to the voice, Marion began the Teacher Accreditation Program that has had an immense ripple effect on the new generation of singers. The program does not just teach singing, but how to teach it— an important distinction for so many teachers who have been blessed with amazing voices. Mentored by teachers in the Voiceology program, HSC students have also achieved outstanding results under this tuition.
Marion’s events and masterclasses have become a powerful hub for collaboration across NSW — connecting vocal coaches, performers, and songwriters from metropolitan, Western, and regional areas. These events cultivate a shared understanding of voice, blending anatomy, performance psychology, and creative artistry. Under Marion’s direction, they’ve helped strengthen the professional network that supports Australia’s singing industry.
Marion’s Impact

After such a long time searching for the answer, I finally found Marion Rouvas and her vocal program. I tested the method by enrolling in vocal lessons myself, and for the first time in my life, my voice began to change. I then signed up all of my teaching staff and even my friends and family members as I found Marion Rouvas’ rare knowledge to be the holy grail of vocal methods and finally someone who can train the voice and not just critique songs. With each person finding the same unbelievable changes to their voices, I immediately discarded all previous vocal teaching material at our music school and implemented Marion’s vocal method.

“Marion saved my voice and teaching career. Presenting to her with vocal strain and intense burning pain in my throat, Marion realised quickly that voice placement was my problem. I had spent a fortune on an ENT and speech pathology prior to this with no relief. I am able to sing once more, with no pain, an increased range and zero trouble sustaining melodies and harmonies. I am forever indebted to her and thankful for her loving care, she is the only singing teacher that I would ever recommend.”

Educational research consistently shows that a teacher’s pedagogical knowledge is the key to student success. For music teachers without formal voice training, Voiceology provides an evidence-based pathway to excellence. Rooted in decades of research and classroom experience, this program has helped hundreds of students achieve exceptional results and develop healthy, lasting vocal technique. As both a Voiceology student and an educator of over 40 years, I have seen firsthand how effectively this method transforms teaching practice and student outcomes. In the hands of a committed teacher, Voiceology becomes an invaluable framework for inspiring confident, capable singers who reach their full potential.
